An introduction to the general field of Native American history with a special focus on Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region. This course is offered with multiple credit options (1, 2, or 3), with the higher credit options including additional assignments and readings.

The strength in this course is the ability to chose the books that I would be studying for the duration of the course. All three books that I read and studied were invaluable to my career and understanding of history and culture within the Native American Indian nations in Wisconsin (and the United States).
