Testimonials

The course is good in giving a broad picture of the history of music in the western world, especially how each musical period is influenced by the previous musical period. Also, it gives a good explanation on how music notation and rhythms changed through time and influenced the next musical period. The musical videos and listening guides exercises really help to understand how each musical piece works as a musical composition that is used as an example for a particular musical period.
